Comic Relief in £6m fair trade boost

Comic Relief has awarded a £5m grant to the Fairtrade Foundation and will manage a £1m fair trade fund on behalf of supermarket chain Sainsbury's.

The grant will be paid over five years to help more farmers enter the fair trade system and allow existing members of the foundation to sell more of their produce into it.
