Clothes Aid tells police chief to go

Charity clothes collecting company Clothes Aid has written to the chief constable of West Midlands Police asking him to resign because, the firm claims, the force has failed to tackle bogus collectors.

The letter accuses Sir Paul Scott-Lee of failing to act on intelligence about the theft of charitable donations and suggests he should admit he cannot police the area adequately.
