Olympics fail to dent Camelot's good cause hopes

Camelot has predicted that its annual donation to good causes will be higher under the third lottery licence than the second - despite the deductions for the National Lottery's contribution to the 2012 Olympics.

In its forecast for the third licence, the lottery operator has predicted sales of £79bn over 10 years, with £22bn going to good causes. Up to £2.025bn of the good-cause funding will be redirected to the Olympics during the third licence, leaving an average annual contribution of £1.99bn for good...
