PDSA awarded volunteering standard

Veterinary charity PDSA has become the first UK-wide organisation to be awarded the Investing in Volunteers quality standard.

The charity – which is supported by about 5,000 volunteers – received the accreditation from Volunteering England. The award signifies PDSA’s commitment to a high standard of volunteer management policies and practices.
