Paul Marsden has joined the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection as policy director and Rebecca Ram has taken on the role of cruelty-free officer.
Marsden joins after two years as a consultant on corporate responsibility programmes. He stood down as the Labour MP for Shrewsbury and Atcham at the 2005 General Election after eight years. Ram is a scientist with experience of running human clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry.
