Group backs Navca grant-funding call

Black and minority ethnic umbrella group Voice4Change England has formally endorsed Navca's Sustaining Grants pamphlet, which calls on councils to promote an active local voluntary sector by maintaining grant funding.
The partnership of 18 national and regional BME sector organisations, which had its formal launch at the House of Commons last month, is encouraging BME groups to use the pamphlet, published in July, to influence local government funding in their respective areas.
