Sue Ryder in plastic bag move

Sue Ryder Care is to introduce an environmental scheme in all its shops that it says could save the charity £35,000 per year on plastic bags.

The Bring Our Bag Back Campaign has been running since June in the charity’s shops in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and has resulted in a 35 per cent reduction in plastic bag usage. The charity is set to extend the scheme to its chain of shops across the UK,...
