Valerie Ceccherini has taken up the role of senior policy and advocacy adviser at international aid and development charity Mercy Corps.
She joins from Medecins du Monde International, where she worked as advocacy coordinator. Before that, Ceccherini worked as a freelance journalist for eight years.
