A survey assessing the training needs of sector workers in the north-east of England has been launched.
The North East Third Sector Skills Survey 2007/2008 is being carried out by regional training and careers website Voluntaryskills.com. The results will be sent to training providers and funders to help them plan future courses.
Voluntaryskills.com is managed by business support organisation Project North East and funded by the Northern Rock Foundation and the European Regional Development Fund.
Paul Lancaster, project manager at Voluntaryskills.com, said “The survey is an opportunity for sector groups across the region to tell us what type of training they need to develop themselves in order to provide an even better service for the people they support.”
To complete the survey, go to www.voluntaryskills.com/skillsurvey. The survey runs until Friday.
