Public Benefit: More detailed guidance coming

Within the next six weeks, the Charity Commission is scheduled to launch more detailed draft guidance on the application of the public benefit test to four charitable sub-sectors.

Guidance documents will be produced to address the concerns of charities working in the prevention and relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion and fee-charging charities.
