Few charities have staff-retention policies, says survey

Charities find it hard to keep staff, but few have funding or a strategy to tackle the problem, according to a snapshot survey.
Research by consultancy TalentDrain for its Employee Retention Survey 2008 shows that 73 per cent of the voluntary sector organisations it polled have no plan to deal with staff departures.
