Music will accompany London half-marathon

Leukaemia Research has been chosen as the charity partner of what is claimed to be London's first half-marathon. The 10,000 runners expected to take part in the Run to the Beat event will be able to raise money for Leukaemia Research or their own chosen charities.

The race, which will take place on Sunday 5 October in Greenwich, will include live music acts from around London because research suggests that music can improve runners’ performances.
