Last week the Fundraising Standards Board's first full adjudication on a fundraising complaint came down against a man who was sent 13 pens by Cancer Research UK. Third Sector's weekly poll asks whether the decision was right.

The complainant claimed that he had been “aggressively targeted” over a two-year period by unaddressed CRUK mail containing the pens; the FRSB concluded there was not sufficient evidence to show all 13 pens had been received within a two-year period and that the mailings did not amount to unreasonable nuisance...
