Charity treasurer disqualified for fraud

A charity treasurer has been permanently disqualified from acting as a trustee after he moved more than £24,000 of charity cash into an account under his sole control.
A Charity Commission report revealed that Dave Kumar, the former treasurer of the Ravidassia Community Centre in Darlaston in the west midlands, was convicted of forging signatures on cheques to transfer charity money into the account.
