Tesco names Marie Curie as charity partner

Marie Curie Cancer Care has been nominated as Tesco's Charity of the Year. The supermarket aims to raise £2.5m for the charity by 31 December.

The charity, which provides nurses to support people with terminal illnesses, will benefit from fundraising activities by Tesco staff across the UK. The retailer will also sell selected products to raise money for the charity. Ten pence from the sale of each one of a special range of greetings cards...
