Scottish outfit ordered to stop posing as a charity

The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator has ordered an organisation called Scottish Help to stop posing as a charity.

The OSCR said that it had received a number of enquiries from the public since August 2006 about Scottish Help after the organisation distributed leaflets displaying a false registered charity number. Scottish Help – which was collecting goods in the Glasgow area – is not entered on the Scottish Charity...
