eBay enforces compulsory donations on resold charity tickets

Auction website eBay has pledged to support good causes through tickets to charity concerts and free events that are resold on its sites.

The company will enforce a minimum donation to charity of 20 per cent on all resold tickets to charity concerts and waive an equivalent percentage in the commission fees it normally receives. It will also introduce a ban on sales of tickets to free events. If a seller donates the...
