Stonewall campaign 'not inappropriate'

The Advertising Standards Authority has rejected 54 complaints it received about Stonewall's recent Education for All billboard campaign, which was designed to address homophobic bullying in schools.

The campaign from the gay rights charity featured 600 billboards carrying the slogan “Some people are gay. Get over it!” Seven complaints said the ad was “inappropriate for display where it could be seen by children”. Five objected that the ad was “particularly offensive to Christian and other religious groups”....
