First national convention for Volunteering England

Volunteering England is to hold its first national convention. The event, which will be held in Newcastle upon Tyne next month, will bring together delegates from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

Topics for discussion include the 2012 Olympics ‘volunteering legacy’ and the risks of the new criminal records vetting system for people working with children and vulnerable adults.
