Charities must modernise or lose the baby boomers, says report

Charities must change how they communicate with donors if they are to avoid a dramatic decline in their supporter bases over the next few years, experts have warned.
The rise of the baby boomers, who have different tastes and preferences to the previous generation, means that charities will have to break their reliance on communicating by post and invest more in the internet, telephone and interactive TV, research by marketing groups DMS and Whitewater suggests.
