Fund launched for community groups

A new fund will be launched in April to offer grants of up to £1,000 to help groups working to improve life at a local level.

The Community Chest Fund will be run by east midlands housing provider Spirita. To be eligible for a grant, a group must have a formal constitution, an equal opportunities policy and a clear plan for the funding, and must offer some benefit for Spirita residents. “We are trying to help...
