Scottish watchdog seeks feedback
By David Ainsworth, Third Sector Online, 3 April 2008
The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator wants to gather feedback on charity regulation, public confidence in charities and key issues affecting the sector.
The regulator has launched research into Scottish charities to help it gather views. It has produced a survey for open to Scottish charities and another aimed at members of the public. The OSCR has posted questionnaires to 1,000 organisations and 10,000 households.
Both the public survey and the charity survey are being conducted by an independent researcher and will run until 11 April and 18 April respectively.
The OSCR will publish a summary report in May.
