YMCA chief executive and chair step down in quick succession

The chair of YMCA England has left a few days after the resignation of its national secretary, Angela Sarkis.

David Bedford announced last week that he was going immediately. Sarkis had been given a pay-off and left the previous week. Third Sector has learnt that Bedford would have faced a vote of no confidence by the trustees if he had not resigned. The trustees were told early this year...
