Transatlantic regulators to meet, Brown says

Third sector regulators in the US and the UK will meet to discuss bringing charities in the two countries closer together, Gordon Brown announced in a speech in the US.
He said US charities would get guidance on how to register and claim tax benefits in the UK. The Prime Minister also revealed plans for philanthropic organisations from both nations to meet in New York to discuss projects in which they can work together.
