Youth volunteering static, says survey

The number of young people who volunteer remained largely static between 2006 and 2007, according to research released today by sector think tank nfpSynergy.
The Youth Engagement Monitor is a survey of more than 1,000 people aged between 11 and 25 that has been carried out twice a year since March 2006. Results from November 2007 show that 18 per cent of respondents had volunteered in the past three months. The figure for November...
