Claim against anti-wind farm group leaflet partly upheld

The Advertising Standards Authority has rejected complaints that a leaflet from an anti-wind farm campaign group used misleading images to exaggerate the size and location of a proposed wind farm. But it upheld complaints that the claims made about noise pollution were misleading.

The leaflet, produced by the Stop Benington Wind Farm Action Group, used computer-generated views of the proposed wind farm from various viewpoints in the local area.
