Lancashire charities accuse council of breaching Compact

Youth charities in Lancashire have accused their local county council of breaching the Compact by cutting funding to local groups without proper consultation.
Lancashire Council for Voluntary Youth Services, an umbrella body for voluntary youth organisations in the county, said it may be forced to close and has submitted a complaint to Lancashire County Council.
