New CRB check advice published

A minority of charities that run unnecessary blanket Criminal Records Bureau checks on all their volunteers could be compelled to refund the costs, the Office of the Third Sector has warned.
The Government advice is published in CRB Check Guidance for Volunteers , a document written in response to the Commission on the Future of Volunteering 's discovery of widespread confusion over when checks should be carried out.
