Move to expand cooperative housing

A group of social housing charities and umbrella bodies have clubbed together to investigate how the use of tenant-controlled housing can be expanded.

The Commission on Mutual and Co-operative Housing, which includes trade body the Chartered Institute of Housing , housing association umbrella body the National Housing Federation and the Housing Associations Charitable Trust , will examine how the use of cooperative housing could grow.
