Make a Difference Day: a Thriller that put people to sleep

An attempt to break the world record for the number of the people dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller and sleeping on the pavement in Norwich were among the highlights of CSV's Make a Difference Day this year.
The event spans two weeks, but most events took place last Saturday.
Liverpool City Centre saw an attempt to break the world record for the number of people performing Michael Jackson's Thriller dance in order to raise awareness multiple sclerosis.
In Norwich, groups of volunteers suddenly ‘fell asleep' outside shops for two minutes and then dispersed quickly in order draw attention to the issue of homelessness and rough sleeping.
Office workers in Darlington built a greenhouse out of recycled plastic bottles.
Participants in CSV Make a Difference Day were aged between two and 105, the charity said.
