Jolanta Lasota
Jolanta Lasota has been appointed chief executive at TreeHouse.
Lasota will join the autism charity in November from Turn2us, where she has been chief executive for two years. The appointment comes after Elizabeth Finn Care, which created Turn2us in 2007, announced that the two organisations will merge (Third Sector Online, 1 October). Lasota replaces Ian Wylie, who has taken up a new role with the Hospital Authority in Hong Kong. "What drew me to this organisation was that it was founded by parents of children with autism who were dissatisfied with the educational provision available," said Lasota. "What those parents achieved in the face of such adversity is astonishing. I'll be looking to retain their unique legacy and looking at ways to spread the influence of TreeHouse's success."
