Peacock 'won’t stop' after receiving Lifetime Achievement award

Geraldine Peacock, the former chair of the Charity Commission, received the Lifetime Achievement award at last night's Third Sector Excellence Awards.

It was one of 23 awards handed out for achievement in the voluntary sector at a glittering ceremony at London's Hurlingham Club. Peacock was the first commission chair after David Blunkett, the former Home Secretary, reorganised the regulator's structure.
