NSPCC has teamed up with Childline for the next phase of its Full Stop campaign. 'Someone to turn to' launches next Monday, and is the first to directly target children.
The campaign's posters and ads will promote both the NSPCC child protection helpline and the Childline number.
John Grounds, director of communications at NSPCC, said: "Because the focus is to encourage children and young people to talk to someone they trust about issues that are worrying them, it made sense to work with Childline."
Staff running the two charities' helplines are now working out how to co-ordinate their services.
"We are providing more opportunities for people to call," said Grounds.
"This is important because three-quarters of children don't call at the time of abuse."
