£518k - The cost of generating voluntary income. The charity raised £1.46m, giving it a fundraising ratio of 36p in the pound

£969k - Free reserves at year-end, equal to about six months' expenditure. Its target was to hold at least three months' operating expenditure

6,000 - The number of weekly visitors to the charity's information website, up from 2,000 in the previous year

5 - The number of research grants given by the charity, totalling £552,000.
