There’s only one week left to enter Third Sector’s Fundraisers: The New Generation awards, which will identify those people who have the potential to become the next generation of great fundraisers.
The awards have been established to recognise the best up-and-coming fundraisers in the voluntary sector who might become the great fundraisers and leaders in the fundraising profession over the next 10 years.
The awards are free to enter and are open to fundraisers at all levels, but they must have worked in the fundraising sector for less than three years. There is no upper age limit.
Applications from fundraisers who work for agencies are also welcome. The deadline for applications is the end of the day on 28 March.
Fundraisers can apply by submitting entries of up to 500 words setting out why they chose to join the profession, what they consider their proudest moment, how they have contributed to the success of their team or clients, and what they want to achieve in the next five years.
Applicants are also being encouraged to submit videos of no more than 90 seconds about themselves, which might include contributions from their managers, colleagues or even beneficiaries. The video is optional.
The winners will be announced at a reception in central London on 22 May. Click here to apply.
If you’re interested in fundraising, you can’t miss Third Sector’s Annual Fundraising Conference on 23 and 24 May. Click here for more information and to how to book.
