Marc Armstrong, a food centre assistant for Marks & Spencer, was one of the three finalists in the Retail Trust’s Search for a Star competition who performed live in the window of the House of Fraser store in Oxford Street, London, last week.

The competition, which sought to discover talented people working in retail, was won by Alice Galloway, who works for the fashion retailer L.K. Bennett.

The Retail Trust provides grants and services worth about £1m a year and gives advice to people who work in the retail sector.
