Project planning and evaluation guide launched

A resource pack for voluntary and community organisations that want to collect evidence highlighting the value of what they do has been produced by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

The Introductory Guide to Evaluation and Project Planning, produced by the grant-maker in association with the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education, emphasises the importance of documenting personal development organisations' clients and provides ideas about how to do so.

It also encourages organisations to involve their clients and partner organisations in planning, recording and assessing what they have done.

The illustrated pack, which also contains examples of best practice, costs £12.50 and can be ordered by emailing information@phf.org.uk or going to http://www.phf.org.uk/.
