Sector embraces Enterprise Week

More than 400 events to promote social enterprise will take place during Enterprise Week next week.

Events will include sessions to introduce social entrepreneurship to children as well as discussions on how to encourage and benefit from social enterprise.

A lecture organised by Westminster Children's Society in Parliament on Social Enterprise Day, 20 November, will look at whether social enterprise could help solve community childcare problems.

Step Clever Social Enterprise consortium will host an event for groups and residents in Merseyside, and Leeds Metropolitan University will host an address by Ben Keene, founder of international social enterprise Tribewanted, which formed a new tribe on a remote Fijian island.
