A resident of the Centrepoint project in Vauxhall Cross hits the decks at the charity's conference for Space, its new life-skills programme at The End nightclub in London on 12 June. Space offers residents at Centrepoint's Greek Street and Vauxhall Cross hostels a number of social and educational activities ranging from DJ workshops to IT classes, through partnerships with groups such as the Cardboard Citizens theatre group. Space will roll out its service to the charity's 14 other hostels and will offer the service to people ranging from long-term rough sleepers to asylum and care seekers.

The conference was sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants, which has supported Centrepoint's Life Skills work over the last three years.
