Followers of fashion Girls aged between seven and ten will be delighted to note that they have a greater choice of clothes to wear for Brownie meetings. Designer Ally Capellino has created the new range of garments in the traditional colours of brown and yellow, each of which aims to be "practical, durable and comfortable with a real fashionable edge".

The collection includes hooded jackets, boot-cut leggings, shorts, trousers, body warmers, T-shirts and skorts (flat-fronted shorts). The Brownies are part of Girlguiding UK which has been carrying out a wide ranging rebranding exercise to drag its image out of the 1950s since 1996. Girlguiding UK was formerly known as the Guide Association.
