Third Sector readers invited to watch launch of Charity Brand Index 2015 live online

The event, scheduled for Wednesday morning, will reveal analysis of public awareness of top charity brands

Third Sector readers are being invited to watch a live stream of the launch of the Charity Brand Index 2015, which will include an analysis of the themes from this year’s data.

The event on Wednesday morning, will feature a presentation about key trends in the data by Martin Bradley of Harris Interactive, which works in partnership with Third Sector to compile the report.

Cancer Research UK retained top spot in this year’s index, which gauges public awareness of charity brands, with Macmillan Cancer Support in second place.

Save the Children dropped out of the top 20 for the first time since 2011, falling 14 places to 29th.

The report, now in its seventh year, is based on an online survey of 4,279 UK adults carried out in July. Respondents were asked questions to determine which charities they were most aware of, whether they trusted them, how likely they were to donate to them, whether they had seen them in the news or advertisements, whether they cared about their causes and whether they understood their work.

The presentation will begin at 9am on Wednesday 23 September and will be available here. Subscribers to Third Sector and those who have registered on will be sent an alert ten minutes before the start and given automatic access. Others will be asked to record their contact details before they can gain access.
