Tory volunteering plans under scrutiny

Third Sector Video: 'Fine in principle, but how would it work?' The panel in our Fundraising Week debate was sceptical about the Conservative plan for three days of paid volunteering for staff at big companies

In this video a Conservative peer, two senior heads of fundraising, a lawyer and an academic argue the pros and cons of David Cameron's idea for giving people more time off for volunteering. "What are we going to do with them?" was one comment.

Three more videos from the event will be posted shortly on cold calling by fundraisers, the effectiveness of self-regulation of fundraising and the rule that only members of the Fundraising Standards Board can fundraise at railway stations.
