Adrian Ramsay appointed chief executive of The Centre for Alternative Technology

The Centre for Alternative Technology, an educational charity, has promoted Ramsay to chief executive. A lecturer at CAT's Graduate School of the Environment, he will take up the role in June.

Richard Gough has been appointed director of finance and operations at the Diocese of London. He joins from the education charity the Woodard Academies Trust.

The venture philanthropy charity Impetus - The Private Equity Foundation has appointed Richard Lackmann as chief financial officer and Philip Rubenstein as communications director. Lackmann was director of finance at the literacy charity Beanstalk; Rubenstein was marketing and business development director at the law firm Stephenson Harwood.

Su Sayer, founder and chief executive of the learning disability charity United Response, is to stand down after 40 years.

Karl Wilding, director of public policy at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, has been appointed a non-executive director at Charity Bank.
