The charity hopes the event will raise at least £25,000. Its work caring for life-limited children costs £3.5m a year. Demelza runs an eight-bed hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent, which provides an art room and music programmes to help the children it serves to make the most of their lives.

The money will also help Demelza's long-term aim of providing a similar hospice in London. The auction takes place on 11 October in Tunbridge Wells.
