Anthony Nolan chief killed in road crash

Dr Steve McEwan, chief executive of the Anthony Nolan Trust, died on 15 September in a road accident. He was 48.

McEwan worked for the leukaemia and bone marrow charity for 14 years and had led it for the past five.

He leaves a wife, Andrea, and son, Sam.

The funeral will be held in private, but a memorial service will be held in London at a date to be confirmed. His family have asked for donations to be made to the Anthony Nolan Trust.
