Argos and Homebase to share charity partners

The British Heart Foundation and Heart Children Ireland will be the next charity partners for Argos and Homebase.

The charities will work with both retailers, which are owned by the Home Retail Group. The two-year campaign, Keeping Hearts Beating, will be launched in the summer with a target of raising £2m, the company said.

This is the first time the Home Retail Group has appointed partners for both its brands. Argos and Homebase currently have their own charity partners.

Argos is working with Leukaemia Research and Homebase with Marie Curie Cancer Care. Both partnerships with come to an end in the summer when the new charities will take over as partners for the whole group.
