Finance: Edge winners

Edge, a charity that promotes awareness of vocational learning, has announced the winners of its annual Edge Upstarts awards for social enterprise. The social entrepreneur of the year was Sital Punja, founder of Sari, which makes haute couture clothing out of recycled saris and gives 10 per cent of its sales to charity. Tom Savage, founder of eco-tourism agency Blue Ventures, was named young social entrepreneur of the year.
