Red Cross to receive £100,000 annually from BT for 3 years

The Red Cross is to receive £100,000 annually for three years from BT. Cash will fund emergency satellite telephones, laptops and global positioning systems for Red Cross emergency response units in disaster zones. BT will also provide IT specialists during emergencies.
