Michael Lewington will take over as director of Calibre Audio Library, the reading charity for people with sight problems and other disabilities. He will join in September after a successful career in the army and subsequently as secretary to the Financial Reporting Council. Lewington succeeds John Palmer, who retires after 12 years in the role.
