Asian Disaster Response: BAAF receives requests to adopt children

BAAF Adoption and Fostering has told people offering to adopt children orphaned by the tsunami to donate to Unicef instead. The charity has received around 100 requests to adopt children from countries devastated by the disaster. But it says that children are still likely to have friends and relatives trying to trace them. Unicef is attempting to stop any trafficking of orphaned and lost children.
